We have 91 homes set atop a mesa in idyllic Linda Vista (Latin-American Spanish for "Pretty View"). Home to University of San Diego and San Diego Mesa College - our community overlooks Tecolote Canyon with it's views of the USD campus, Executive Golf course and winding journey westward to the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
Our community incorporates wide-open green spaces just a step out your front door. Sit in the shade under broad canopies of majestic sycamores. Children? Have a picnic (tables available) while your children entertain themselves on the recently updated playground. Are playgrounds not your thing? Take a refreshing dip in the cool water of our gated community pool or just relax poolside with a good book and bask in the glory of the Westcoast sun.
Situated along the edge of, with direct access to, Tecolote Canyon Natural Park and Nature Center | Parks & Recreation | City of San Diego Official Website, six (6) miles of serene multi-use trails await you to get those steps in. Walk from your doorstep to the beautiful USD campus or continue on to the Park entrance taking in the scenery of the canyon's several trails. While you're at it, stop by the Tecolote Canyon Natural Center with its exhibits of local plants & animals. Do you like boat races, water sports or want to enjoy the OTL tournament? It's only an hour walk to Fiesta Island.
Want to get out and about? See the sights? It's only 20 minutes (seriously, we're that centrally located) to several famous attractions: the World-famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World theme park, Balboa Park and its Botanical Gardens, Historic Old Town (where San Diego began), Little Italy, San Diego's vibrant Downtown, and miles of coastal beaches. Are you more adventurous? Visit the snow-capped mountains of Julian, the deserts of Anza-Borrego, or cross the border into Tijuana.
